Meratech LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company doing business as Mera Journey provides travel planning and coordination. We do not operate tours, employ guides, or control airlines, hotels, or government permit offices. Your trip is delivered by independent third parties under their own terms.

Inherent risks

Travel in Nepal, Bhutan, and other destinations we plan may involve trekking at altitude, mountaineering, remote areas, wildlife activities, domestic flights in mountainous regions, and travel on rough roads. These activities carry risks including but not limited to:

Altitude sickness and related medical emergencies
Weather delays, trail closures, and avalanche or landslide risk
Physical injury from trekking, climbing, or vehicle accidents
Illness, including from food, water, or insect-borne disease
Political events, strikes, or natural disasters

By engaging our services or traveling on an itinerary we design, you acknowledge these risks and accept that they cannot be eliminated.

Travel insurance

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel medical insurance for all clients. For treks above 4,000 meters, expedition climbs, or remote itineraries, emergency medical and helicopter evacuation coverage is strongly recommended and may be required before we finalize your plan.

Read policy exclusions carefully (especially altitude limits and adventure sports). We do not sell insurance and do not guarantee that any policy will cover a specific event.

Health and fitness

You are responsible for assessing whether you are physically fit for your itinerary. Consult your physician before high-altitude travel. Advisor may decline or modify plans if we believe an itinerary is unsuitable for stated fitness levels.

Permits, visas, and entry requirements

We guide you through permit and visa processes but cannot guarantee approval. Entry rules change without notice. You are responsible for valid travel documents.
